Dr Yasir Noorani is the clinical director and works at the practice full-time. With his wealth of experience he focuses on patient’s needs and comfort. His caring and gentle approach changes the perspective of patients who are phobic to dental treatment.
General and Cosmetic Dentist
He started his career in general dentistry in 2003. He trained for postgraduate qualifications in Dundee and attained a postgraduate Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Having gained specialist experience in complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Yasir returned to general dental practice in 2006.
Implant Surgeon
Yasir has a specialist interest in implant dentistry. After working with one of the leading implantologists in the country at Harley Street for 2 years he completed a certificate in implant dentistry. Later with his experience and training he secured a diploma in Implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. Since then he has been updating his skills in the more complex level of this field and has invested in the state for the art equipment at the practice geared to carry out advanced level of treatment. He is a member of the Association of Implantology UK and International Team of Implantology.
Yasir is also a visiting implant dentist at other practices and is a keen mentor.
Facial Aesthetics
Yasir has also been trained by one of the leading facial surgeons to carry out wrinkle reduction treatments and dermal fillers to enhance the facial fitness of the patients.
Yasir takes a caring approach and aims to explain all treatment options effectively to ensure that the patient has input and is comfortable in the decision that he/she makes. His patients are like his extended family who he looks after to the best of his ability.

Mariam is an Orthodontic Specialist and takes a keen interest in the fine details of finishing a smile. She works at the practice part-time and at the hospital as an Orthodontic Consultant the rest of the week. She is a keen teacher and enjoys the complex work in the hospital environment. This brings to our practice her expertise in planning complex cases, ensuring we can offer and manage simple and complex orthodontic treatments with ease for both adults and children.
Mariam completed her Orthodontic Specialist training and Masters with distinction from Kings College Hospital. She then went on to complete her Orthodontic Consultant Training in complex cases at the Royal London and Ipswich Hospitals. She has worked in both practice and hospital and has experience of Oral and Maxillofacial, Paediatric and Special Care Dentistry, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
In 2009 after securing her postgraduate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and of England she returned to work in practice.
She takes a gentle approach and aims to explain and discuss treatment options effectively with patients to formulate a well-understood treatment plan. Her main interests are Orthodontics (Braces) and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.

We are proud to inform you that Mrs. Meena Ranka has joined our team here at Court Drive Dental Practice.
We are now taking private patients and patient referrals for Periodontics and complex restorative cases to see Mrs. Ranka.
Her main areas of interest include periodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, management of complex restorative cases including treatment of patients with toothwear (with a confirmative and reorganised approach), hypodontia (congenitally missing teeth), oral rehabilitation of head and neck cancer patients and implant dentistry. Mrs. Ranka has the experience of joint orthodontic-restorative treatment planning for treatment of patients with hypodontia and cleft lip and palate. She enjoys her work of restoring smiles and oral rehabilitation.
Mrs. Ranka is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry including Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics. She commenced her specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool Dental Hospital and attained FDS (Rest Dent) RCS in 2012 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Mrs. Ranka was appointed as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal Preston Hospital in July 2013 and was the Clinical Lead for this service. She was the Clinical Director of Dental Specialties Department from 2016 to 2018 and achieved clinical excellence awards for her work during this time in addition to a charitable grant from Rosemere Cancer Centre for the restorative service. She has been the Clinical Audit lead and regularly chaired the Evidence-Based Dentistry Forums at the Hospital. Her main remit at the hospital included oral rehabilitation of head and neck oncology patients.
Mrs. Ranka has been recently appointed as a Senior Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and is setting up the Restorative Service for this region, with her specialist interest in Head and Neck Cancer. She regularly attends courses, conferences and seminars for continuing professional development and has completed an Advanced Implantology course at the Branemark Institute in Johannesburg, SA. She is a member of the British Society of Prosthodontics and has been actively involved in Restorative Managed Clinical Networks. At home, she is a busy mum and enjoys spending her time with her husband and son. She plays badminton and her hobbies include crafts, traveling and cooking.
Dr Rudi obtained his medical degree at Stellenbosch in 2000 and has been working in Emergency Medicine in the UK from 2003 until 2018. He has kept his ALS and PALS certificates current over the last 20 years.
In 2008 he started working in NHS Dental Sedation Referral Centres in and around London. Due to the high turnover in these clinics, he has done over 20 000 sedations in adults and children by 2018. In 2014 he acted as honorary lecturer for University College London in their post-graduate dental sedation course and in 2016 he attended his first international course and conference in the US on Paediatric Sedation, and since then has been passionate about children’s sedation. In 2015 he started providing private dental sedations and set up a Sedation Service in 2017.
In 2020 he set up clinical governance in paediatric sedation for out of hospital treatments in line with the national guidelines and hence expanded his service to include children. He has a team of friendly, highly trained and experienced nurses who joins him with children’s sedation.
In 2022 the Service has rebranded to become Advanced Sedation Ltd and had registered as a Designated Body with the GMC.
Dr Rudi is registered with the GMC and indemnity with MPS. He is a member of ADA, SAAD and Medsu. He has been Chair of the ADA (Association of Dental Anaesthetists) from 2020-21 and currently still sits on the ADA Council.
Dr Sophia Malik qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2002. Sophia has been at Court Drive Dental Practice since 2006.
She continues to undertake further postgraduate training attending courses monthly, to keep abreast of the latest techniques and procedures. Sophia has always kept fully up to date with the latest protocols in dentistry and prides herself on being meticulous, caring and thorough in the treatment she offers. Patients appreciate her calm manner and she is especially good with nervous patients and children.
Sophia offers all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.
Treatments include informative clinical examinations, white fillings, teeth whitening, crowns and veneers. She has a specialised interest in the more complicated gum treatments.
Through this she aims to improve oral health, restore strength and function and improve smiles.
Sophia enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. She particularly likes long walks and exploring the
outdoors.
Kristine graduated with her BSc Dental Hygiene in Canada and has been practising since 2009.
Kristine is caring and tries her best to provide a comfortable experience with her clients she enjoys building relationships with her clients and help them achieve optimal oral health through educating and giving motivation to improve home care habits.
In her free time she likes to travel and go on hiking adventures with her dog.
Dental Nurse- Infection Control Lead
Sarah joined the practice on a permanent basis in 2011. Sarah is known for her friendly nature. She is always smiling and is an energetic worker. Her beaming white smile motivates a number of patients and staff to get their teeth whitened.Sarah is very experienced and is eager to learn more. She has been trained in implant dentistry and continues to look into further developing her career as a nurse. She keeps herself up to date with the latest developments. Currently Sarah is keen to learn more in facial aesthetics. She is a valued member of the team that helps with the smooth running of this friendly practice.
Emma joined the practice in September 2020 after working in the dental industry for the last two years. Emma is friendly and always ready to help with your questions or concerns. She is dedicated to helping patients throughout their dental visit and ensuring patients feel comfortable with their appointments and treatment plans.
Emma has two children who keep her busy outside work and as a family they enjoy travelling and cycling. Emma also enjoys spending time with her friends and going out for dinner and to music events.
Bindu Pisavadia is an accomplished Practice Manager with over 30 years of experience in managing dental practices. She is known for her strategic approach to practice management, her ability to lead diverse teams, and her commitment to enhancing patient care. Bindu has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving patient satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Her diverse experience includes managing dental practices, where she has demonstrated exceptional skills in coordinating dental care services, optimising practice workflows, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
