It is the aim of this practice to provide quality dental care to our patients on schedule and to use clinical time effectively. To achieve this aim, we have an appointment management and cancellation policy.
Appointments can be made through our online booking system at www.courtdrivedentalpractice.co.uk and by phone on 01895 233955.
Appointments can be rescheduled within our opening hours by calling 01895 233955.
When booking all routine dental appointments, consultations, and all hygiene appointments we will require them to be prepaid in full. If there is any additional treatment completed at the appointment any remaining balance will be asked for on the day.
When booking for any treatments a deposit will be required. The amount requested will be at the discretion of the dentist based on the treatment and length of the appointment needed.
The deposit will be deducted from the total balance of your treatment.
Deposits are fully refundable with sufficient notice.
An email reminder will be sent 4 days before any appointment and text reminders are sent to patients 2 days before any appointment.
It is important the practice has the correct contact details. Patients are requested to inform the practice of any changes to their contact details.
We will only cancel or delay a patient’s appointment in unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, we will:
Contact the patient as soon as the practice knows the need to cancel or delay the appointment. We will explain the reason for the cancellation or delay.
At the time of contact, the patient will be offered a new appointment at the earliest time available.
If the patient is unable to commit to a new appointment during that contact, we will ask them to get in touch at a later time, when we will offer them a priority appointment.
Patients are requested to give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel any appointment. This allows us to schedule in a patient who may be in urgent need of our care.
Cancellations should be made by telephone on 01895 233955.
There is a fee for private dental appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 48 business hours’ notice. The fee is based on the length of the appointment booked and will be charged at £75 per half an hour. For any shorter appointments, there is a minimum charge of £75.
Any appeals about missed or cancelled appointment decisions by a patient should be made in writing to the Practice Manager.
We thank you for your support and understanding. We hope this will allow us to improve our level of customer care.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the practice policy, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01895 233955 or [email protected].
